Pengjiang District, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, with Guangzhou to its north, Zhuhai and Zhongshan to its east, and the vast South China Sea to its south, is an important land and water gateway connecting the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao to the South-western Province of China.
